Is possible that on more than one occasion I have asked if it was possible to eliminate the apps that include all iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch by default. At least for now this is not possible, but it seems that with iOS 9.3 there will be developments in this regard and that thanks to the Apple application will be possible, 2 Configurator at least, hide the native apps iOS for not showing in the Springboard of our iDevices.
Thanks to this system, it will be possible to create a configuration profile that hide the icons of these apps. In this way the applications are not displayed on the Home screen of the device, although whether they will still installed and occupying storage space.
The negative part is that Apple Configurator 2 is a software designed for massive configuration devices and is specially focused to the business sector or education. It is not an app to the scope of all users and requires some technical expertise, although we can still consider this an important step toward the future possibility that the company can hide the apps that we do not use from the own settings of the device; something that could possibly reach with iOS 10.
Apple Configurator 2.2 is still in beta phase as with iOS 9.3. Surely we do not see the final version until the release of the final version of the above-mentioned beta phase of the operating system and it will be in this moment when we can begin to hide the iOS native apps through the use of profiles.
for many users having several native apps that do not use is not a problem. It is most common to fit all these apps within a folder and not return to remember them. Even so, it is true that other users bother them much and also, today the number of native applications is quite large, so that a measure of this type, or even the possibility of eliminating them completely (with the possibility of their recovery through the App Store, for example), is very welcome.
What side you are? Do you mind having native apps of iOS visible or you prefer to be able to hide or delete them completely?
